A phase whose motives were projections belonging to a past, sometimes distant and looking back to childhood, while at the same time putting into question in a playful manner the position of the woman as an artist.

DOLMENS AND MENHIRS

I have always been impressed by Dolmens and Menhirs, which partly explains my interest in travelling to Brittany and Ireland and this phase was developed as a kind of meeting with the Celtic soul and the mystery of the Universe.

GARDENS OF THE IMPERIAL MUSEUM

This was to inaugurate the “Art Platform” created in Petrópolis in 1992, in the Imperial Museum, which was the residence of the Brazilian Emperor, Peter II. I was born in Petrópolis, thus these works are impregnated with memories of my childhood, when I used to play in the gardens of the Museum. The red benches are one of the garden’s most characteristic elements.
